Insights & Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most.
How much life insurance do I need?
A common starting point is 10 to 15 times your annual income, plus any debts like your mortgage and future costs like college. We'll run a free needs analysis based on your situation.
What's the difference between term and permanent life insurance?
Term covers you for a set number of years and is usually the most affordable. Permanent coverage (whole life or IUL) lasts your lifetime and builds cash value you can access.
What are living benefits?
Many policies let you access part of your death benefit early if you're diagnosed with a chronic, critical or terminal illness, so the policy can help you while you're alive.
Do I need a medical exam?
Not always. Many carriers offer no-exam or simplified-issue policies based on a health questionnaire, often with fast approvals.
How does an IUL build cash value?
Part of your premium goes into a cash value account that earns interest based on a market index, with a floor that protects you from market losses. Caps and fees apply and vary by carrier.
Is a consultation really free?
